Laser Dance
After every 8 moves, a rank or file charges for 2 moves, then removes every piece on that line. The cycle repeats every 8 moves. Only the side allowed to see it sees the line and countdown.

Turn the constraint into a lever.
Plan around it
- In Domination, watch the countdown and move important pieces off the selected line before it fires.
- In Conquest, the enemy knows the charged line; infer the danger from the board.
Keep in mind
- Only completed player moves advance the countdown.
- The beam clears the whole rank or file and ignores blockers.
